On a weekend when the Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens play a professional version of pond hockey at McMahon Stadium, Gibson Fine Art and The Gerry Thomas Gallery present "The Art of Hockey".
This unique celebration of our national game will feature the works of famed hockey artist Bill Brownridge and internationally acclaimed photographer Gerry Thomas. The event takes place Friday, February 18th at 6 o’clock p.m. It will include a silent auction with all proceeds going to The Calgary Flames Foundation. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeurves and a cash bar.
"The Art of Hockey" is a wonderful opportunity for lovers of hockey and art to enjoy and maybe take home iconic paintings and photographs that celebrate our national game.
The event will be held jointly at Gibson Fine Art (628 11th Ave. SW) and The Gerry Thomas Gallery (100-602 11th Ave. SW) in Calgary.
